BROOKLYN FISHING DERBY
Brooklyn’s first fishing derby brought to you by the Brooklyn Urban Anglers Association (BKUA)

Heard any New Yorkers talk about their latest catch?
Didn’t think so…
Heard anyone bragging about being the “next biggest hooker in Brooklyn”?
Didn’t think so…
But you are about to!

The first annual Brooklyn Fishing Derby is a derby unlike any other (well, it’s sorta like other fishing competitions but this one’s in Brooklyn!).  Whether you’re an experienced angler or don’t know which end of a fishing rod to hold all are welcome to some friendly competition, great parties with other Brooklyn anglers, and a chance to win some sweet prizes.

This sounds like a ton of fun. What do I need to do to get involved? I can only really participate on weekends.

    Beno–

How clever to have an urban fishng event. I hear about you from Paul, and hope all goes well. Being a lover of cities, I am all for combining sport of any kind with our urban lives. Recently spent time at Hunts POint Riverside Park in the Bronx for my Award. Cleaning up Bronx River to make it fishable would be a great project! Much Love, Many Hugs, Emily
